I am trained in a variety of treatment modalities, the actual counseling approach I use with a given client is determined by that client's preferences and personal goals, as well as the nature of the issue being addressed. Any approach I use will incorporate a strengths-based, client-centered focus that seeks to enhance the client's level of motivation. In addition to my clinical experience, I believe that my patient centered treatment knowledge has helped me to stay current with emerging best practices and enables me to match evidence-based interventions to the specific issues facing my clients.
